President’s Message 2006

Legacy – Webster’s dictionary defines it as “something transmitted by or received from an ancestor or predecessor or from the past”. Practically speaking, it is what we leave behind for those who come after us. Each day - in the decisions we make, the agreements we reach, the processes we improve, the employees we coach – we are creating a legacy.

CAHPMM is a resource to help all of us build upon our legacies at each of our organizations. The speakers, the exhibitors, the networking – all equip us to do more and to be more valuable to our organizations.

After the success of last year’s conference, we are expecting great things from this year’s conference. I look forward to serving as President this year and I certainly welcome any and all input from our membership. Please feel free to contact me directly.
