As Regulatory Compliance Chair, my responsibilities involve making sure our insurance policies and registration with the state of California are up to date. Mike has been with Adventist Health for over 20 years in progressively more advanced roles. For the last 3 years he has been the Area Admin Director of the Southern California Network for Supply Chain Operations, which is made of up 4 markets from Simi Valley to Montebello. Mike brings a strategic approach centered around standardized practices and processes to drive efficiencies at our markets. Mike has been a member of AHRMM since 2011, and attended his first CAHPMM conference in 2015. He has been a board member since 2021. |

Manager, Strategic Sourcing at Adventist Health As the CAHPMM Secretary, Ed's primary responsibility is to ensure board discussions and decisions are organized and well documented. Ed is currently a Sourcing Manager for Adventist Health System, responsible for value analysis, strategic sourcing and contract negotiations. With over 20 years of experience in healthcare in various roles, I focus on bringing financial, operational, and other customer-centric values. I know the importance of continuous learning, human connection and interaction – I’ve been a member and proudly called CAHPMM home since 2016. Tammy GonzalesConference Logistics Committee Chair
Director Supply Chain Adventist Health Central Valley Network Tammy Gonzales is a seasoned healthcare supply chain leader serving six hospitals and more than 60 clinics across Central California and the Central Coast. In her role as Area Administrative Director, she is dedicated to fostering strong collaboration across teams to deliver exceptional patient experiences and outcomes while maintaining careful stewardship of supply chain costs. Her career reflects a results-driven approach, evolving from managing operations at a single hospital to uniting multiple hospitals and diverse cultures around shared best practices—all with patients at the center. Throughout her career, Tammy has built high-performing, trusted teams and designed simple, effective processes that consistently achieve supply savings and contract compliance goals. Her achievements include earning Premier GPO awards for supply cost reductions, equipping a new 143-bed hospital, leading efforts to decommission facilities following hospital transitions, and supporting supply chain work during hospital and clinic acquisitions. In recognition of her leadership and impact, she was honored with the organization’s first-ever “Director of the Year” award by the executive team. A long-standing member of CAHPMM for more than 12 years, Tammy has served on the board for over a decade in various leadership capacities. She joined CAHPMM out of a strong belief in education and the value of learning from peers. Tammy is deeply passionate about supporting the professional goals of others and is known for mentoring team members and accommodating schedules to help individuals advance. Over the years, members of her department have gone on to successful careers in policing, physical therapy, IT, operating room technology, nursing, teaching, and more—an accomplishment she considers among her most meaningful. Tammy has been a member of CAHPMM since 2014 and on the Board since 2015. |

Sr. Affiliate Manager, Adventist Health West In her role as Events and Exhibits Committee Chair, Heidi partners closely with the Vendor Liaison and Conference Logistics Chair to shape conference themes, décor, and overall event experience. She manages relationships with outside vendors and designs interactive games and incentive programs to drive strong supplier participation and create an engaging exhibit environment. Heidi Sweeney is a seasoned supply chain professional with over 35 years of progressive experience, specializing in contract compliance and supply standardization. She has worked extensively with multiple GPOs, distributors, and manufacturers to optimize supply chain operations and implement meaningful cost-savings initiatives. Known for her collaborative leadership style, Heidi brings a proven track record of achieving performance targets while fostering strong team environments and delivering exceptional customer service. Heidi is deeply committed to professional development and industry leadership. She has served on the AHRMM Education Committee, Chapter Relations Committee, and Annual Conference Education Committee. She has attended the CAHPMM Conference annually since 2009 and has proudly served on the CAHPMM Board for 12 years, contributing to education, networking, and the advancement of healthcare supply chain professionals. Outside of work, Heidi enjoys spending time in her garden with her two granddaughters and baking homemade treats for family and friends. |
